Hector's Island
Hector's Island was co-written with Denys Colomb de Daunant, the writer, poet and photographer and author of 'White Mane' (Crin Blanc) which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 1953. This film was later adapted as the children's TV series 'White Horses'. Denys was the uncle of a friend of mine at Chelsea Art School, he had seen 'Polly and the North Star' and suggested the writing collaboration that became Hector's Island.
